adequate stay, but issues noted

dirty bathroom unclean toilet
the staff were friendly. the price was acceptable for the location.
my room had not been cleaned properly since the previous occupant. the bathroom had hair in the drain and the toilet still contained waste from a prior guest. this lack of cleanliness is unacceptable in any accommodation.

seaside solace

good size comfortable bed lovely view
the room had such good size, a welcome surprise. the bed reminded me of a cloud, offering such a comfortable night's sleep. the view from my window was lovely too, overlooking the sea and adding a little magic to the stay.
i found some cleaning issues that bothered me a little. there were a few stains all over the carpet, something that detracted from the otherwise neat appearance.

The hotel is near the beach and marina, offering an easy walk to the sandy shores and boat dotted harbor. I saw lots of people enjoying the scenery.

Excellent Value and Superb Location!

spacious family room kind staff sea view
The family room was very spacious. It even had a fantastic sea view. Staff members were super kind and helpful. I really enjoyed the area. Prices in the pubs and cafés are very reasonable.
I found the check-out time to be ridiculously early. I'm used to 11am or 12pm, not 10am, at other hotels.
Dining
9/10
The pub downstairs does excellent food, indeed. I found the Sunday dinner tasty but could have been warmer. That would have made it perfect. The bar downstairs is also an option for a drink before and after a match.
Facilities
8/10
I liked the location. It was close to the beach with free parking! The location was perfect for my trip, too. My son was playing at the academy. It was a short 5-10 minute drive, what a great facility for families.
